1st
Day: - Arrival at Delhi
Arrival at Delhi.
Company representatives will receive you on arrival at the international airport
in Delhi late in the evening. Transfer to your hotel. Relax.
Overnight at Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi ( Delhi Sight Seeing )
Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed for day tour of Old & New Delhi.
DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with
a fascinating blend of the past and the present. It is a perfect introduction
to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope -
that is India.
Afternoon proceed for a halfday City sightseeing tour of Old Delhi.
OLD DELHI - A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the
Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid
- the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort
and palace of the Moghul Empire.
Evening will be at leisure.
Overnight Delhi.
3rd Day: - Delhi Agra ( By Road Covering 201 Km in 4 hrs)
Proceed by surface for Agra after breakfast. Reach Agra and check into hotel.
Proceed for sight-seeing.
TAJ
MAHAL: Taj Mahal, a dream etched in milky white pristine marble is the peerless
monument portraying the beauty of eternal love! A commemoration of the memory
of Shahjahan's beloved wife, Mumtaz. Taj Mahal is indeed India's rich tribute
to womanhood. Renowned for its aesthetic beauty, this extravagant building of
timeless beauty is the outcome of a unique combination of passion and architectural
exuberance.
Visit the TAJ MAHAL - one of the Seven Wonders of the World was built
by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and AGRA FORT - Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar
in 1565 AD.
After Agra Fort we will visit BABY TAJ - the interiors of which are considered
better than the Taj.
4th Day: - Agra Jaipur ( By Surface Coverning 285 km )
Proceed to Jaipur after breakfast. Visit Fatehpur Sikri en-route.
Drive to Fatehpur Sikri. The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar built
that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience.
It a veritable fairytale city and its "ruins" are in pristine condition
... it's not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the
days of its grandeur. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway
in the world.
Reach and check in at hotel.
Overnight at Jaipur.
5th Day: - Jaipur
After breakfast drive to beautiful Pink City Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri.
JAIPUR
- The origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the
eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II who ascended the Amber
throne in 1699. Jaipur today, epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. In-spite of
growing into a bustling metropolis, it still retains it's character and history
- A beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and modernity. Popularly known as the
Pink City because of the extensive use of the locally abundant pink plastered
stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the royal consort of Queen Victoria.
Jaipur thrills the soul with its massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite
temples and lush gardens.
Afternoon visit to the Local markets and shopping places and evening visit to
a ethnic Theme village Resort.
Overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.
6th Day: - Jaipur
Breakfast at hotel.
After breakfast drive to Amber Palace. Enjoy Elephant Back ascent to the
Fort.
AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace.
Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent
Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a
beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression.
Continue city sightseeing.
CITY
PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture,
the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It
houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five
observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This
observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds"
is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Its five-storey structure of sandstone plastered
pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has
953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal
grandstand for the palace women.
Shopping in the evening or relax. Overnight will be at Jaipur.
Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed for morning sight-seeing of Jaipur covering the important palaces and
monuments.
Shopping in the city. Overnight at Jaipur.
7th Day: - Jaipur Udaipur (By Air)
Breakfast at hotel.
Proceed to the airport for flight to Udaipur.
Reach and check in at hotel.
Proceed for Evening Motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola.
Also visit the Jag Mandir Palace - the other island palace in the middle of
the lake.
Relax in the evening. Overnight at Udaipur.
8th
Day: - Udaipur - Nathwada Udaipur ( By Road Covering 48 Km in 1 ½
Hrs.)
Breakfast at hotel.
By Road covering 48 km in 1 ½ hr. Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Nathwada
away from Udaipur for a day visit. Reach and visit the temple.
Return to Udaipur by evening. Spend evening in the old city and have dinner
in one of the beautiful lake facing haveli hotels.
Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 9 : Udaipur - Eklingji - Udaipur
By road covering 22 km in 1 hr.
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for sight-seeing tour of Udaipur in the morning.
Visit the 300-year-old Jagdish Temple and the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajput
kings.
Proceed to Eklingji after lunch. Eklingji is 22 km from Udaipur and is famous
for its 108 temples complex protected by a high fortified wall.
Return to Udaipur. Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 10 : Udaipur - Delhi
Breakfast at hotel.
Spend morning at leisure in Udaipur. Roam around the old city markets or sit
by the lakeside. Relax for the day.
Afternoon to Delhi.
Relaxation & last minute shopping.
Day 11 : Delhi - Home
Transfer to airport for flight home with sweet memories of India.
